1. Drive My Car

Asked a girl what she wanted to be
She said “baby can’t you see
I wanna be famous, a star of the screen
But you do something in between”
“Baby, you can drive my car
yes, I’m gonna be a star
Baby you can drive my car
And maybe I’ll love you”
I told that girl that my prospects were good
And she said “baby it’s understood
Working for peanuts is all very fine
But I can show you a better time”
“Baby, you can drive my car
yes, I’m gonna be a star
Baby you can drive my car
And maybe I’ll love you”
Beep beep mm beep beep, yeah
“Baby, you can drive my car
yes, I’m gonna be a star
Baby you can drive my car
And maybe I’ll love you” br>
I told that girl I could start right away
And she said “listen baby I’ve got something to say
I got no car and it’s breaking my heart
But I’ve found a driver and that’s a start”
“Baby, you can drive my car
yes, I’m gonna be a star
Baby you can drive my car
And maybe I’ll love you”
Beep beep mm beep beep, yeah
Beep beep mm beep beep, yeah
Beep beep mm beep beep, yeah

2. Norwegian Wood (This Bird Has Flown)

I once had a girl
Or should I say she once had me
She showed me her room
Isn’t it good Norwegian wood?
She asked me to stay
And she told me to sit anywhere
So I looked around
And I noticed there wasn’t a chair
I sat on a rug biding my time
drinking her wine
We talked until two and then she said
“it’s time for bed”
She told me she worked
in the morning and started to laugh
I told her I didn’t
and crawled off to sleep in the bath
And when I awoke I was alone
This bird had flown
So I lit a fire
Isn’t it good Norwegian wood?

10. I’m Looking Through You

I’m looking through you
Where did you go
I thought I knew you
What did I know
You don’t look different
But you have changed
I’m looking through you
You’re not the same
Your lips are moving
I cannot hear
You voice is soothing
But the words aren’t clear
You don’t sound different
I’ve learned the game
I’m looking through you
You’re not the same
Why, tell me why
Did you not treat me right
Love has a nasty habit
Of disappearing overnight
You’re thinking of me
The same old way
You were above me
But not today
The only difference
Is you’re down there
I’m looking though you
And you’re nowhere
Why, tell me why
Did you not treat me right
Love has a nasty habit
Of disappearing overnight
I’m looking through you
Where did you go
I thought I knew you
What did I know
You don’t look different
But you have changed
I’m looking through you

Yeah, Oh, baby you’ve changed
Aah, I’m looking through you
Yeah, I’m looking through you
You’ve changed, you’ve changed
You’ve changed, you’ve changed
